Elkan Baggott Brings Pride to Indonesia with Prestigious Award in England

Elkan Baggott, a former member of Indonesia's national team, has made his country proud by receiving a prestigious award in England. The 22-year-old defender was honored with the Community Championship award by Blackpool FC during their annual award ceremony. This recognition came as a result of his outstanding efforts off the field, contributing to the community and raising the profile of the club.
Although Baggott’s time at Blackpool FC has been marred by injuries, which limited his appearances, he has still played a crucial role whenever called upon. Currently on loan from Ipswich Town, he has made 18 appearances and provided one assist for Blackpool. His dedication, particularly in helping to boost the club's popularity, especially among Indonesian fans, seems to have played a part in earning him this award.
Blackpool FC also handed out other awards during the ceremony, with Ashley Fletcher winning the Supporters' Player of the Year, Olly Casey being named Player of the Season, and Tom Bloxham receiving the Goal of the Season accolade. Blackpool currently holds ninth place in the English League 3 standings for the 2024-25 season.
