Seven Players Set to Stay as Persebaya Focuses on Strengthening for Next Season

Persebaya Surabaya has confirmed that seven players will remain with the club for the upcoming season. The retained squad members include Bruno Moreira, Francisco Rivera, Dejan Tumbas, Malik Risaldi, Ernando Ari, Andhika Ramadhani, and Toni Firmansyah.  

Following 27 matches this season, the club’s management remains committed to achieving the best possible results while also planning for future improvements. With approximately 70 percent of the current squad staying on, Persebaya aims to build upon this foundation to enhance their competitiveness in the next campaign.  

Alongside securing key players, the club continues to evaluate both the squad and coaching staff to create a stronger lineup. Under head coach Paul Munster, Persebaya has performed well and currently sits in third place in the Liga 1 standings, accumulating 48 points from 27 matches. With seven games remaining, the team is focused on securing a strong finish to the 2024-2025 season.
