Liga 2: Three Teams Officially Relegated to Liga 3, PSMS and Sriwijaya FC Secure Safety

As of Monday, February 10, 2025, three teams have officially been relegated from Liga 2 to Liga 3 after the results of the fifth matchday in the 18th round of relegation battles. In Group H, Persikota Tangerang faced Nusantara United, while Sriwijaya FC played PSMS Medan. Meanwhile, in Group I, Dejan FC took on FC Bekasi City, and Persikabo 1973 played against Adhyaksa FC.

Persikota Tangerang ended their match against Nusantara United in a 3-3 draw, which, combined with other results, confirmed both teams' relegation to Liga 3. Sriwijaya FC, on the other hand, secured a 1-0 victory over PSMS Medan, ensuring their safety in Liga 2 for next season.

In Group H's standings, PSMS Medan led with 12 points, while Sriwijaya FC followed with 9 points, guaranteeing their place in Liga 2 for the upcoming season. Both Persikota and Nusantara United, with only 4 points each, could not reach the safety zone and will drop to Liga 3.

In Group I, Dejan FC was defeated 0-1 by Bekasi City, while Persikabo 1973 suffered a heavy 0-3 loss to Adhyaksa FC. This defeat confirmed Persikabo's relegation to Liga 3, marking a consecutive drop for the team after their relegation from Liga 1 last season.

With only one match remaining, Persikabo 1973’s 1 point from 5 matches placed them at the bottom of Group I, unable to escape relegation. Meanwhile, Adhyaksa FC and Bekasi City, both with 9 points, occupied the top two spots in the group, while Dejan FC was in third place with 7 points.

The relegation battle continues in Groups J and K, with five teams in each group. In total, nine teams will be relegated to Liga 3 for the 2025-26 season.
