AC Milan’s Second Bid for Ardon Jashari Rejected Amid Tension with Club Brugge

AC Milan’s Second Bid for Ardon Jashari Rejected Amid Tension with Club Brugge
AC Milan has encountered another setback in their pursuit of Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari after Club Brugge rejected a second transfer offer during the summer 2025 window. Despite Milan’s strong interest, their latest proposal still fell short of Brugge’s valuation, making negotiations increasingly difficult.

Jashari, a 21-year-old talent, remains a key target for Milan as the club seeks to add depth and long-term potential to their midfield. With Samuele Ricci and Luka Modric already signed, the Rossoneri are still aiming for a more dynamic and versatile profile, which they believe Jashari could provide. His youth and tactical flexibility make him a promising addition for Massimiliano Allegri’s system.

While Milan initially submitted an offer around €32.5 million with minor bonuses, Brugge held firm on their €40 million valuation. The Italian club followed up with an improved bid of €33.5 million plus bonuses totaling €35 million, but the Belgian side again refused to sell. This persistent rejection indicates Brugge’s determination to retain the player unless their full asking price is met.

Beyond the financial aspect, tension has reportedly escalated due to Milan’s public statements during ongoing negotiations. Remarks from Milan’s sporting director Igli Tare were perceived as poorly timed and disrespectful by Club Brugge, particularly as they came just before Brugge’s league opener. This misstep in communication may have further complicated the relationship between the two clubs, making a future agreement even more uncertain.
