Exciting Clash: Indonesia U-17 vs North Korea U-17 in the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup Quarterfinals
The Indonesia U-17 national team is gearing up for an intense quarterfinal match against North Korea in the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup. Indonesia has secured its spot among the top eight teams, joining Uzbekistan, UAE, North Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, and South Korea in the next phase of the competition.
Indonesia topped Group C with a perfect record, winning all three matches against South Korea (1-0), Yemen (4-1), and Afghanistan (2-0). They are now set to face North Korea, who finished second in Group D. North Korea, with a rich history in this tournament, having won the U-17 Asian Cup twice (in 2010 and 2014), promises to be a tough challenge for the young Garuda squad.
Meanwhile, Japan, which led Group B with four points, will play the host nation, Saudi Arabia, in another exciting quarterfinal. The other quarterfinal matchups include Uzbekistan against UAE and Tajikistan against South Korea. The eight teams advancing to the quarterfinals have automatically secured their spots in the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, which will take place in November.
