Potential Candidates to Replace Teco at Bali United

With Stefano Cugurra’s future at Bali United in doubt due to a five-match winless streak, the club may soon be searching for a new head coach. Several experienced names have emerged as potential replacements, including former Persib Bandung manager Robert Rene Alberts.
Bali United's contract terms reportedly state that a coach must secure a win within five consecutive matches to retain their position. With recent poor results, Teco’s tenure is under serious threat, making room for possible alternatives. Here are four coaches who could take over:
• Kim Do-hoon (South Korea) – Former assistant to Shin Tae-yong, Kim Do-hoon has a strong managerial track record, winning titles in both South Korea and Singapore. Currently without a club, he presents an attractive option for Bali United.
• Robert Rene Alberts (Netherlands) – A seasoned coach with vast experience in Indonesian football, Robert Rene Alberts remains unattached since parting ways with Persib Bandung. His previous success with Arema FC and PSM Makassar makes him a viable candidate.
• MilomirSeslija (Bosnia & Herzegovina) – Having coached multiple Liga 1 clubs, including Arema FC and Borneo FC, Seslija’s familiarity with Indonesian football could work in his favor. His availability makes him an easy target for recruitment.
• Sergio Farias (Brazil) – The former Persija Jakarta coach boasts a strong resume, having led Pohang Steelers to AFC Champions League glory. His experience across various Asian leagues could be an asset for Bali United.
