Kluivert Set to Drop Six Players from Indonesia's Squad for Australia Match After EgyMaulanaVikri's Injury

The Indonesian national team is set to face Australia on March 20, 2025, at Allianz Stadium in Sydney for a crucial World Cup 2026 Qualifier match. Ahead of this important fixture, coach Patrick Kluivert had initially named a 30-man squad, which included regular players such as Thom Haye, Justin Hubner, and MarselinoFerdinan, as well as three newly naturalized players: Emil Audero, Dean James, and Joey Pelupessy.

However, one notable absence is EgyMaulanaVikri, who will miss the match due to injury. This means Indonesia will be traveling with 29 players, but as per the competition regulations, only 23 players can be included in the final matchday squad.

Kluivert now faces the challenge of cutting six players before the final selection, with Justin Hubner and Ragnar Oratmangoen expected to be dropped due to suspension from yellow card accumulation. Both players will be eligible to return for the following match against Bahrain.
