Ramadhan Sananta Driven to Prove Himself in Front of Patrick Kluivert

Persis Solo's forward, Ramadhan Sananta, has found extra motivation to showcase his abilities in front of Indonesia’s new national team coach, Patrick Kluivert. During the 22nd round of the 2024-25 Liga 1 season on February 7th, 2025, the former PSM Makassar striker scored a stunning goal against Persebaya Surabaya, helping his team secure a 2-1 victory.
Sananta admits that the appointment of the new national team coach has sparked a greater drive in him to prove his worth and demonstrate that he deserves a spot in the national squad. He expressed his hopes for the upcoming matches, stating that he intends to give his best performance and earn a call-up to the national team, emphasizing his motivation due to the new coach’s arrival.
Recently, Kluivert, along with his coaching staff, has been actively attending Liga 1 games, and it seems Sananta is keen to make the most of this opportunity. Over the past four matches, he has scored 3 goals for Persis Solo.
Sananta was pleased with his team's return to winning form, stating that it was an important result for the squad. So far this season, he has played 19 matches for Persis Solo, totaling 1,196 minutes, scoring 4 goals, and providing 1 assist.
Persis Solo’s head coach, Ong Kim Swee, has praised Sananta’s improvement, especially after serving a three-match suspension following a red card. He believes that Sananta has a unique set of skills.
