Ruben Amorim has new injury concerns hampering his preparations ahead of his side’s latest fixture. The Manchester United manager will be bereft of the services of four first-team players vs Leicester City on Friday.
Lisandro Martinez is the latest absentee after rupturing multiple ligaments in his left knee. The Argentine international will not play again this season. Jakub Stolarczyk should take his spot between the sticks, with Leicester City lining up in a 4-2-3-1 formation in front of him vs Manchester United on Friday. The backline will likely feature Woyo Coulibaly, Conor Coady, Caleb Okoli, and Victor Kristiansen.
As for the midfield unit, there is no looking past Boubakary Soumare and Oliver Skipp in the double pivot. Leicester boss Van Nistelrooy inflicted those two defeats on his new club back in October and November, and the visiting fans will hope he can make it a hat trick of wins, but if their performance at Everton is anything to go by, that looks incredibly unlikely.
