Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates his 40th birthday

Brazilian media outlet Globo Esporte reported that Neymar traveled by plane for his first training session with Santos. However, this arrangement will not last long, as he plans to permanently relocate to the Santos area.

Globo Esporte consulted three helicopter pilots familiar with Neymar's travel routine to gather details on the aircraft model, fuel consumption, and flight time to understand how he commutes before finalizing his move.

Neymar owns a custom-made helicopter, manufactured in 2019, which can accommodate two pilots, eight passengers, and luggage. It is equipped with two engines, allowing it to fly in adverse weather conditions and complete the journey from Mangaratiba to Santos in about an hour.

The cost of Neymar’s flight from Mangaratiba to Santos is estimated to be between 2,400 and 3,500 Brazilian reais. Since the trip requires a round trip, fuel expenses alone could reach up to 7,000 reais.



Additionally, there are other necessary costs, such as crew expenses, as they provide services for Neymar’s family, and maintenance fees, which are calculated based on flight hours. Annual maintenance costs are estimated to be between $400,000 and $500,000 to ensure strict safety and operational standards.

Although Neymar’s helicopter expenses are relatively minor compared to his career earnings, he will soon be able to reduce its use as he focuses on his relocation plans. Neymar is reportedly looking to purchase a luxury home in Morro Santa Terezinha, near his new club in Santos.
