Controversy Hits Persis Solo as Fuad Sule Plays Despite FIFA Suspension

The club fielded Fuad Sule, a foreign player who is currently serving a suspension issued by FIFA, during their opening match against Madura United. Responsibility in this case is shared among several parties. Persis Solo, as the club, failed to properly vet Sule's disciplinary status before fielding him. The player himself also bears fault for not disclosing his active suspension. Meanwhile, PSSI faces scrutiny over its role in overseeing player eligibility and managing communication between FIFA and local clubs.
