Manchester United are reportedly exploring the possibility of loaning out goalkeeper Andre Onana during the 2025 summer transfer window. This unexpected move arises as the club expresses strong interest in signing PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma. The decision is believed to be influenced by Onana’s inconsistent performances and manager Ruben Amorim’s desire to revamp the squad following a disappointing Premier League campaign.
Onana joined Manchester United from Inter Milan in 2023 for £43.8 million, replacing long-time goalkeeper David de Gea. Despite making over 100 appearances, his tenure has been marked by critical errors, most notably in the Europa League, which have raised doubts about his long-term reliability.
