Barcelona Faces Registration Crisis: Marcus Rashford and Five Others Struggle for Squad Spots

Beyond the senior players, Barcelona also aims to promote youth prospects Gerard Martin and Marc Bernal to the first team. Both are expected to be officially registered and given squad numbers, signaling the club’s commitment to integrating homegrown talent. Gerard Martin, a left-back, is anticipated to wear number 18, while midfielder Marc Bernal may choose between numbers 12 or 22.

The situation is more complicated for Roony Bardghji, another recent recruit who faces uncertainty regarding his official squad registration. Bardghji will only secure a spot if there is room left after the other five players are registered, which adds another layer of complexity to Barcelona’s ongoing squad management struggles.
