Leo’s football journey began in 2012 with Sriwijaya FC’s academy before he transitioned to Semen Padang’s youth team in 2014. In 2016, he moved to Bali United but struggled to secure regular playing time, prompting a switch to PSPS Pekanbaru in the following season where he gained valuable experience in Indonesia's second tier.
In 2018, he returned to Semen Padang and delivered an impressive campaign that opened the door for a transfer to PSM Makassar. While his opportunities were limited there, Leo managed to contribute a few assists before making a more stable move to Borneo FC in 2021. During his time with Borneo, he became a consistent presence on the field and proved himself as a reliable player over several seasons.
