Ivar Jenner has officially been promoted to the senior team of FC Utrecht, marking a significant milestone as he prepares to compete in the Dutch Eredivisie for the 2025-26 season. At 21 years old, the Indonesian national team midfielder has transitioned from the club’s second team, Jong Utrecht, to the top-tier squad, signaling the start of a new chapter in his professional career.
Jenner’s journey with FC Utrecht began in 2016 after moving from Ajax’s academy. Over the years, he steadily progressed through the ranks and became a regular starter for Jong Utrecht during the 2024-25 season, featuring in 26 matches. His consistent performances earned the trust of head coach Ron Jans, who included him among the nine midfielders selected to strengthen the team for a challenging season ahead.
