PSSI Announces Revised Schedule for 2025 President’s Cup with Key Matchday Shifts
The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has released an updated timetable for the 2025 President’s Cup preseason tournament, with several matches rescheduled. The most notable change is the shift of the second matchday from July 9 to July 8, while the opening day remains unchanged. The tournament will kick off on July 6 with Persib Bandung hosting a match at Stadion Si Jalak Harupat, followed by Oxford United facing the Liga Indonesia All Star team at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
The second matchday now takes place on July 8, featuring Liga Indonesia All Star versus Arema FC in the afternoon and Persib Bandung against Dewa United in the evening, both at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. This adjustment moves the original schedule up by one day. The third matchday will occur on July 10, where Dewa United plays Port FC and Arema FC meets Oxford United, again at the same venue.
The schedule for the third-place playoff and the final has also been brought forward. The third-place match between the runner-ups of Group A and Group B will now be held on July 12, instead of the original date of July 14. The final match, featuring the group winners, is set for July 13, a day earlier than initially planned. Both decisive games will be played at Stadion Si Jalak Harupat.
These changes aim to optimize the tournament’s flow and accommodate logistical needs, ensuring teams and fans can enjoy the competition smoothly. The President’s Cup 2025 promises exciting matchups at iconic venues, with the revised schedule allowing better planning for all involved.
