The 2024-25 UEFA Champions League season concluded with a dominant performance from Paris Saint-Germain, who secured the title after a stunning 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the final. In recognition of their exceptional campaign, UEFA unveiled the official Team of the Season, heavily featuring PSG players. The list honors the standout performers who consistently impressed throughout the competition.
PSG had seven players selected, including Ousmane Dembélé, who was also named Player of the Tournament. Barcelona contributed two players, notably Raphinha, who ended the season as the top scorer. The lineup also celebrated emerging talent, such as Desire Doué of PSG, who earned the Young Player of the Tournament accolade for his breakthrough performances.
UEFA opted for an aggressive 4-2-4 formation for this year’s selection. In goal, Gianluigi Donnarumma stood out with numerous critical saves. The defense featured Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, and Nuno Mendes from PSG, alongside Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan, forming a solid backline that proved vital throughout the competition.
