No Bahrain Fans? Indonesia Gets a Big Boost Ahead of Crucial Match

The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) confirmed that none of the 3,000 allocated tickets for Bahrain supporters were purchased ahead of their 2026 World Cup Qualifier clash in Jakarta.
To prevent financial losses, PSSI redirected the unclaimed tickets to general spectators and home supporters, which sold out within hours. This move ensures a strong backing for the Indonesian national team at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (SUGBK).
While it's uncertain if Bahrain fans will attend through other channels, the official allocation for them remains unused. Despite past concerns raised by the Bahrain Football Association (BFA) regarding security following a controversial draw in their previous encounter, AFC and FIFA upheld Jakarta as the match venue.
With FIFA and AFC representatives expected to be present, Indonesia is committed to ensuring a safe and well-organized event. The highly anticipated match, part of Group C's third-round qualifiers, is set to take place on Tuesday, March 25, at SUGBK.
