Sport: 60% of VIP Seats at New Camp Nou Sold, Generating Around €33.5 Million Annually

Barcelona’s Director of Operations, Joan Sentelles, spoke about the club’s imminent return to Spotify Camp Nou, stating:

"We are progressing with the completion of Spotify Camp Nou according to the planned construction schedule. We want to highlight the efforts made by the city council regarding the permit process—they have handled it excellently. By the end of April, we expect to have completed 90% of the construction work on the first and second tiers."

Sentelles also revealed that 60% of the 9,400 VIP seats at Spotify Camp Nou have already been sold, which is expected to generate approximately €33.5 million in annual revenue. Over the next 7 to 10 years, this revenue could bring the club around €266 million, significantly improving its financial situation.

Additionally, Barça Vice President Elena Fort stated:
"Building Spotify Camp Nou is a huge challenge, but it is a dream that is becoming a reality. Being part of the construction of the best stadium in the world is an immense source of pride."
She also emphasized that season ticket holders will be able to return to their original seating areas after the renovation, though the club has not yet disclosed the future pricing of season tickets at Spotify Camp Nou.

Barcelona hopes to use the new stadium for some of the final matches of the current season, with an expected capacity of 60,000 spectators. By then, the stadium will be equipped with temporary entry control systems, lighting, operational services, and limited food and beverage concessions. The club's ultimate goal is to host Real Madrid at home in the El Clásico in mid-May.
