According to reports, the venue for the 2025 UEFA Super Cup has been confirmed. Journalist Nicolo Schira reports that the 2025 UEFA Super Cup will be held in Italy, at the Friuli Stadium in Udine, home of Udinese. This will also be the first European Super Cup after the reforms to European club competitions. Since being permanently established as a single-match final in 1998, the European Super Cup has never been held in Italy.

The last time an Italian stadium hosted the European Super Cup was in 1996, when Juventus played Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg at Palermo's Stadio Barbera. Juventus won 3-1, securing a 9-2 aggregate victory.
